Knowing when your loved one needs you is important to you and them. When we started Abiding Joy Senior Care Home nine years ago I did a lot of research to choose a call system. We love the Smart Caregiver system that we have used since then.

In the old days if a patient needed help they had a cute little bell on their tray or nightstand. Ring the bell and hopefully someone across the house would hear. Then wired call buttons came out. Those worked well if you were sitting where you could reach your call button, but what if you fell or were sitting in a different chair. Working in a facility during those years meant always trying to remember to put the call button in reach before leaving the room.

Technology has improved and now call buttons can be worn around your neck. Which means no matter where your loved one sits down or falls the call button is accessible. Calling for help is easy and convenient. The Smart Caregiver system is in expensive and reliable with lots of add on elements available like fall monitor pads. The great thing about the Smart Caregiver system is that you can have a pager to wear and hear the call for help anywhere in the house.
